我国铬铁矿与非常规油气勘查双获突破

Recently, China has achieved significant breakthroughs in the exploration of both chromite ore and unconventional oil and gas resources, providing new momentum for securing strategic mineral supplies and optimizing the national energy mix. In the Luobusa area of Tibet, geologists have discovered a large-scale chromite deposit using high-precision geophysical surveys and deep drilling techniques. Initial estimates suggest reserves exceeding one million metric tons, substantially enhancing China’s self-sufficiency in chromium—a critical metal essential for stainless steel and high-performance alloys, traditionally reliant on imports.Simultaneously, major progress has been made in unconventional hydrocarbon exploration—particularly shale gas and tight oil—in the Ordos and Sichuan basins. Through domestically developed horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing technologies, coupled with an integrated geoscience-engineering approach, several blocks have achieved record-breaking production rates per well. This not only strengthens domestic natural gas supply security but also supports China’s clean energy transition under its ‘dual carbon’ goals.These dual breakthroughs highlight China’s growing capabilities in deep-earth exploration, green prospecting, and strategic mineral reserve management, marking a shift toward a more technology-driven and sustainable resource exploration paradigm.

近日,我国在铬铁矿与非常规油气资源勘查领域双双取得重大突破,为保障国家战略性矿产资源安全和能源结构优化注入了新动能。在西藏罗布莎地区,地质工作者通过高精度地球物理探测与深部钻探技术,新发现一处大型铬铁矿床,初步估算资源量达百万吨级,显著提升了我国铬资源的自给能力。铬是不锈钢、高温合金等高端制造业不可或缺的关键金属,长期依赖进口的局面有望逐步缓解。与此同时,在鄂尔多斯盆地和四川盆地,非常规油气(包括页岩气、致密油等)勘查也取得重要进展。通过自主创新的水平井压裂技术和地质—工程一体化模式,多个区块实现高效产能突破,单井日产量创历史新高。这不仅增强了国内天然气供应保障能力,也为实现‘双碳’目标下的清洁能源转型提供了有力支撑。两项突破体现了我国在深地探测、绿色勘查及关键矿产战略储备方面的综合能力提升,标志着资源勘查正从传统模式向科技驱动、绿色低碳方向加速转型。
