During his tenure as vice governor, Chen was primarily responsible for finance, taxation, and financial regulation, making notable contributions to Sichuan’s economic development—particularly in fiscal system reform and financial risk management. His responsibilities will be reassigned to other provincial government officials to ensure continuity and stability in governance.
