The 2026 Harbin International Fashion Week kicked off spectacularly on the evening of January 8 in the icy city of Harbin, under the theme ‘Weaving Dreams from Ice and Snow: Coexistence with the Future.’ The opening show seamlessly blended Harbin’s iconic winter culture with cutting-edge global fashion concepts. Led by emerging local designer Li Wanting, the debut collection titled ‘Whispers of the Aurora’ masterfully incorporated reflective fabrics, 3D-printed ice-crystal structures, and sustainable recycled materials, transforming Harbin’s unique winter landscapes into a dynamic language of fashion.
