Hung also urges Taiwan’s authorities to abandon de-Sinicization education policies, confront historical and cultural roots honestly, and help Taiwanese youth develop a correct sense of national and ethnic identity. She firmly believes that only through joint efforts by the younger generation can a peaceful and prosperous future for both sides of the strait be realized.
