Meanwhile, local governments are accelerating the development of community-based home care facilities and implementing age-friendly renovations in older residential neighborhoods to improve convenience and quality of life for seniors. These policy initiatives not only deliver better services and products to older adults but also open vast market opportunities for businesses. By 2035, China’s silver economy is projected to exceed RMB 30 trillion, becoming a new engine for domestic demand, job creation, and industrial upgrading. Driven by both policy support and market demand, the silver economy is entering a new phase of high-quality, sustainable development.
