The Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) was held in Beijing in January 2025. The session comprehensively reviewed the achievements of discipline inspection and supervision work over the past year and laid out a systematic plan for advancing full and rigorous self-governance of the Party, promoting integrity, and combating corruption in 2025. It emphasized the unwavering commitment to the Party’s self-revolution, deepening the anti-corruption campaign, and resolutely addressing cases where political and economic corruption are intertwined. The session stressed strengthening oversight of top officials and leading Party bodies, improving the integrated supervision system of the Party and the state, and enhancing the effectiveness of governance through coordinated supervision mechanisms. Notably, it called for a zero-tolerance approach toward ‘micro-corruption’ affecting ordinary citizens, ensuring the protection of people’s immediate interests. This plenum reaffirmed the CPC Central Committee’s firm resolve to continuously uphold discipline, improve conduct, and fight corruption, providing crucial guidance for advancing comprehensive Party self-governance on the new journey.
二十届中央纪委五次全会于2025年1月在北京召开，会议全面总结了过去一年纪检监察工作取得的成效，并对2025年全面从严治党、党风廉政建设和反腐败斗争作出系统部署。全会强调，要坚定不移推进党的自我革命，持续深化反腐败斗争，坚决铲除政治腐败和经济腐败交织问题，强化对‘一把手’和领导班子的监督。同时，会议提出要健全党和国家监督体系，推动各类监督贯通协调，提升监督治理效能。全会还特别指出，要以零容忍态度惩治群众身边的‘微腐败’，切实维护人民群众切身利益。此次全会彰显了党中央持之以恒正风肃纪反腐的坚定决心，为新征程上推进全面从严治党提供了重要遵循。
