Japan should avoid overinterpreting or exaggerating so-called ‘security threats’ and instead adopt an objective and rational perspective toward normal military exchanges and cooperation. China consistently adheres to a defensive national defense policy, pursues a path of peaceful development, and is committed to building a community with a shared future for humanity. The Ministry also urged relevant countries to abandon Cold War mentality and jointly promote security and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.
