The ‘Top 10 Commercial Brands of Beijing 2025’ were recently announced, spanning sectors including retail, food & beverage, technology, and culture—highlighting the latest trends in commercial innovation and consumption upgrades in China’s capital. The honorees include JD.com, Xiaomi, Quanjude, Wumart, Meituan, Pop Mart, SKP, Tongrentang, Douyin Local Services, and Freshippo (Hema).These brands stand out not only for their strong revenue and market share but also for setting benchmarks in digital transformation, sustainability, and integration of ‘Guochao’ (national trend) cultural elements. Notably, this year’s selection placed special emphasis on the synergy between ‘new quality productive forces’ and consumer experience. Emerging players like Pop Mart have expanded global influence through IP-driven strategies, while Douyin Local Services has empowered brick-and-mortar businesses via its content ecosystem, pioneering an ‘online-to-offline’ engagement model.Traditional brands such as Quanjude and Tongrentang are also revitalizing themselves through product innovation and diversified channels to appeal to younger consumers. Organized under the guidance of the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau and co-hosted by several authoritative institutions, the awards aim to spotlight exemplary enterprises driving high-quality commercial development and offer a ‘Beijing model’ for nationwide business transformation.
