Recently, the Liuxiandong Station on Shenzhen Metro Line 5 has officially commenced an optimization and renovation project. As a key interchange node connecting Bao’an and Longgang districts, the station has experienced steadily increasing passenger volumes, with its current infrastructure struggling to meet peak-hour demand. This upgrade aims to enhance passenger flow efficiency, improve user experience, and strengthen connectivity with surrounding industrial zones—particularly the Liuxiandong Strategic Emerging Industries Headquarters Base.The renovation includes widening entry and exit corridors, adding escalators and barrier-free elevators, optimizing turnstile layouts, upgrading lighting and ventilation systems, and integrating smart guidance and real-time crowd monitoring technologies. The project will be implemented in phases to minimize disruption to daily operations. Upon completion, it is expected to significantly alleviate congestion during rush hours, improve emergency evacuation capacity, and accommodate future ridership growth.Shenzhen’s rail transit authorities stated that this initiative embodies the city’s commitment to ‘smart metro’ development and a ‘people-centered’ approach, further supporting Liuxiandong’s transformation into a modern urban hub integrating technology, sustainability, and efficient transportation.
近日，深圳地铁5号线留仙洞站正式启动优化改造工程。作为连接宝安区与龙岗区的重要换乘节点，留仙洞站日均客流量持续增长，现有设施已难以满足高峰时段的通行需求。此次改造旨在提升车站通行效率、改善乘客体验，并增强与周边产业园区（如留仙洞战略性新兴产业总部基地）的衔接能力。改造内容包括：拓宽进出站通道、增设自动扶梯与无障碍电梯、优化闸机布局、升级照明与通风系统，以及引入智能导引与客流监测技术。工程预计分阶段实施，尽量减少对日常运营的影响。项目完成后，将显著缓解高峰期拥堵，提升应急疏散能力，并为未来客流增长预留空间。深圳市轨道交通部门表示，此次改造是落实“智慧地铁”和“以人为本”理念的重要举措，也将助力留仙洞片区打造成为集科技、生态与高效交通于一体的现代化城市新地标。
