Recently, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) announced an administrative penalty decision, proposing a total fine of RMB 12.8 million against Hubei JingShan Light Industrial Machinery Co., Ltd. (referred to as “JingShan Light Machine”) and four of its responsible individuals for violations related to information disclosure. According to the investigation, between 2020 and 2022, JingShan Light Machine failed to disclose related-party transactions and material contracts as required, and provided inaccurate financial information—serious breaches of the Securities Law’s requirements for truthful, accurate, and complete disclosures. The company’s then Chairman, General Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary of the Board were identified as directly responsible personnel and will bear corresponding legal liabilities. This penalty reflects regulators’ ‘zero-tolerance’ stance toward disclosure violations in the capital markets, aiming to protect investors’ rights and maintain market fairness and order. JingShan Light Machine stated it will fully cooperate with regulatory requirements, strengthen internal compliance, and improve the quality of its disclosures.
