The Commission emphasized that telecom fraud severely threatens public financial security and legal rights, requiring an integrated approach combining enforcement, prevention, control, and regulation. Leveraging big data and artificial intelligence, local political and legal agencies have strengthened early-warning systems, targeted interventions, and rapid fund-freezing mechanisms, effectively curbing the surge in fraud incidents. International law enforcement cooperation has also led to the repatriation of numerous fugitives and the dismantling of multiple cross-border fraud hubs. Moving forward, the Commission will continue enhancing China’s anti-fraud legal framework, reinforcing sectoral oversight, and raising public awareness to firmly protect people’s hard-earned savings.
