The film tells the true story of three African-American female mathematicians—Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson—who worked at NASA during the racially segregated and gender-discriminatory 1960s. Despite systemic barriers, they played pivotal roles in America’s space race through their exceptional mathematical talents and unwavering determination.
