The TAO stated that the DPP is using political means to suppress dissent and deepen social divisions, severely undermining Taiwan’s democracy and rule of law. The term ‘green terror’ refers to the DPP leveraging its governing power to politically persecute opponents, censor speech, and manipulate public opinion through judicial and administrative channels, creating a political climate where only loyalty to the party is tolerated. The TAO emphasized that such actions not only violate democratic principles but also damage the foundation for peaceful cross-strait relations. The mainland consistently upholds the principle of ‘one China’ and the concept that ‘people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to one family,’ firmly opposing any form of ‘Taiwan independence’ separatist activities. The TAO urged the people of Taiwan to recognize the DPP’s true intent—manipulating ideology and inciting division—and to jointly safeguard the overall interests of cross-strait relations and the Chinese nation.
