To better meet public demand for exit-entry document services and enhance the convenience of government services, Tianjin’s public security exit-entry administration has recently launched a ‘Week of Extended Service Hours for Exit-Entry Document Processing.’ During this initiative, all citywide exit-entry service centers will extend their operating hours, with some locations offering services during evenings and weekends to accommodate working professionals, students, and others who cannot visit during regular business hours.This extended-service week is part of Tianjin’s broader efforts to deepen the ‘streamlining administration, delegating power, and improving regulation and services’ (Fang Guan Fu) reforms and optimize the local business environment. By flexibly adjusting service hours, optimizing appointment procedures, and adding on-site guidance staff, the initiative effectively alleviates pressure during peak periods such as holidays and school breaks. Residents can schedule appointments in advance via the ‘Tianjin Public Security’ WeChat official account or the National Immigration Administration mobile app to minimize on-site waiting times.In addition, the exit-entry administration has introduced several other citizen-friendly measures, including priority lanes for seniors, multilingual support, and electronic payment options, further enhancing the overall service experience. This initiative not only reflects the government’s people-centered approach but also supports regional integration within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area and facilitates international exchanges.
