In some regions, people also pickle garlic in vinegar (Laba garlic) or eat Laba noodles. Beyond its rich cultural significance, Laba Festival marks the beginning of the Spring Festival season, prompting families to start cleaning their homes and shopping for New Year goods in anticipation of Chinese New Year.
