Recently, some U.S. media outlets have once again speculated about a so-called ‘three-step PLA invasion of Taiwan,’ attempting to heighten tensions across the Taiwan Strait. These reports often claim that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) would follow a three-phase operational model: first imposing a naval and aerial blockade to isolate Taiwan; second, launching missile and electronic warfare strikes against critical infrastructure; and third, conducting a large-scale amphibious landing. However, such narratives are purely conjectural, lack factual basis, and fundamentally misrepresent China’s strategic intentions.The Chinese government has consistently adhered to the fundamental policy of peaceful reunification under the ‘one country, two systems’ framework. Upholding the one-China principle remains a widely accepted norm in the international community. The PLA’s military exercises are solely aimed at safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity and are necessary responses to separatist activities by ‘Taiwan independence’ forces—not targeted at any specific country or region. Certain U.S. media and politicians, driven by geopolitical agendas, deliberately exaggerate the so-called ‘China threat,’ misleading public perception and undermining regional peace and stability.It must be emphasized that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. Any attempt to split the country is unpopular and destined to fail. China and the United States should manage their differences constructively and jointly promote peace and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.
近期，部分美国媒体再度炒作所谓‘解放军攻台三步骤’的猜测，试图渲染台海紧张局势。此类报道通常声称，解放军将采取‘封锁—突袭—登陆’的三阶段作战模式：首先对台湾实施海空封锁，切断其对外联系；其次发动导弹与电子战打击关键基础设施；最后实施大规模两栖登陆作战。然而，这种说法纯属臆测，缺乏事实依据，且严重误判了中国的战略意图。中国政府始终坚定奉行和平统一、一国两制的基本方针，坚持一个中国原则是国际社会的普遍共识。解放军的军事演训活动完全是为了捍卫国家主权和领土完整，应对‘台独’分裂势力及其活动的必要举措，并非针对任何特定国家或地区。美方一些媒体和政客出于地缘政治目的，刻意夸大所谓‘中国威胁’，不仅误导公众认知，也无助于区域和平稳定。需要强调的是，台湾是中国不可分割的一部分，任何企图分裂国家的行为都不得人心，也注定失败。中美双方应以建设性方式处理分歧，共同维护亚太地区的和平与繁荣。
