Jilin Petrochemical’s transformation and upgrade project, a key initiative of Jilin Province and China National Petroleum Corporation, has now been largely completed. With a total investment of over 30 billion yuan, the project aims to build a modern, integrated refining and chemical base characterized by green development, intelligence, and high efficiency. It focuses on refining structure adjustment, olefin capacity expansion, and extension of the chemical new materials industry chain. Upon operation, the quality of Jilin Petrochemical’s gasoline and diesel will be fully upgraded to the National VI standard, while production capacity of high-end chemical raw materials such as ethylene and propylene will significantly increase. The project also introduces high-value-added new materials like ABS and polycarbonate, promoting a shift toward refined and high-end manufacturing. This initiative not only optimizes regional energy structure and reduces emissions but also injects new momentum into the revitalization of Northeast China’s traditional industrial base, strengthening industrial and supply chain stability. It is expected to increase annual output value by over 10 billion yuan, playing a vital role in boosting local employment and supporting high-quality economic development.
吉林石化转型升级项目是吉林省和中国石油集团的重点工程，现已基本收官。该项目总投资超过300亿元，以建设“绿色、智能、高效”的现代化炼化一体化基地为目标，重点实施炼油结构调整、烯烃产能升级和化工新材料产业链延伸。项目投产后，吉林石化汽柴油质量将全面升级至国Ⅵ标准，乙烯、丙烯等高端化工原料产能大幅提升，同时新增ABS、聚碳酸酯等高附加值新材料产品，推动产业向精细化、高端化转型。这一项目不仅优化了区域能源结构，降低了排放，还为东北老工业基地振兴注入新动能，强化了产业链供应链稳定性，预计年产值可增加超百亿元，对促进地方就业和经济高质量发展具有重要意义。
