China is also accelerating green transformation and technological innovation in its rare earth sector to promote sustainable resource use.Experts note that efforts by the U.S., Japan, and others to build a ‘China-excluding’ rare earth supply chain are unlikely to succeed in the short term due to high costs and continued dependence on China for technical expertise and production capacity. China urges relevant countries to engage in constructive cooperation to jointly safeguard the security and stability of global supply chains.
