In June 2024, the inaugural Greater Bay Area High-Quality Development Conference on Low-Altitude Economy officially opened in Shenzhen. Themed “Integration, Innovation, and Collaborative Win-Win,” the event brought together hundreds of guests from government bodies across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, leading enterprises, research institutions, and investment firms to discuss the latest advancements and future directions of the low-altitude economy in areas such as policy support, technological innovation, and industrial ecosystem development.The low-altitude economy refers to economic activities conducted within airspace below 3,000 meters, encompassing emerging sectors like drone logistics, urban air mobility (UAM), low-altitude tourism, and emergency response services. As a key component of China’s strategic emerging industries, it is increasingly recognized as a new driver for high-quality regional development. The Greater Bay Area, with its robust industrial chain, vibrant innovation ecosystem, and open policy environment, holds unique advantages for fostering this sector.During the conference, multiple cooperation agreements were signed, several pilot projects were launched, and the ‘Greater Bay Area White Paper on Low-Altitude Economy Development’ was released to guide standardization and regulation. Experts agreed that through enhanced cross-border collaboration, improved infrastructure, and optimized airspace management, the Greater Bay Area is poised to become a world-leading demonstration zone for the low-altitude economy, offering replicable models for regions nationwide and globally.
2024年6月，首届‘大湾区低空经济高质量发展大会’在深圳隆重开幕。本次大会以‘融合创新、协同共赢’为主题，汇聚了来自粤港澳三地政府代表、行业龙头企业、科研机构及投资机构的数百名嘉宾，共同探讨低空经济在政策支持、技术创新、产业生态构建等方面的最新进展与未来方向。低空经济是指利用3000米以下空域开展的各类经济活动，涵盖无人机物流、城市空中交通（UAM）、低空旅游、应急救援等多个新兴领域。作为国家战略性新兴产业的重要组成部分，低空经济正成为推动区域高质量发展的新引擎。粤港澳大湾区凭借其完善的产业链、活跃的科技创新氛围和开放的政策环境，具备发展低空经济的先天优势。大会期间，多项合作协议签署，多个低空经济示范项目启动，并发布了《大湾区低空经济发展白皮书》，为行业标准化、规范化发展提供指引。与会专家一致认为，通过加强跨区域协同、完善基础设施、优化空域管理机制，大湾区有望率先建成全球领先的低空经济示范区，为全国乃至全球提供可复制、可推广的经验。
