Recently, the task schedule of China’s third aircraft carrier—the Fujian (hull number 18)—has drawn widespread attention. As China’s first domestically built carrier equipped with an electromagnetic aircraft launch system (EMALS), the Fujian has entered a critical phase of system integration testing and carrier-based aircraft compatibility trials since its launch in 2022.
