The funds will primarily support accelerated R&D of its sodium-ion battery technology, capacity expansion, and commercialization efforts in energy storage and low-speed electric vehicles.As the dedicated sodium-ion battery platform of Haisida Power Supply Co., Ltd., Haisida Naxing leverages its parent company’s extensive experience in lithium-ion battery technology to rapidly establish itself in the sodium-ion sector. Sodium-ion batteries are gaining attention due to their abundant raw materials, lower cost, and enhanced safety—making them a compelling complement to lithium-ion batteries, especially in applications where high energy density is less critical but cost-efficiency and safety are paramount, such as grid-scale energy storage, e-bikes, and A00-class micro electric vehicles.This strategic investment underscores strong market confidence in sodium-ion technology and marks a pivotal step in Haisida Naxing’s industrialization journey.
