Furthermore, language barriers, cultural differences, and lack of legal residency status often leave individuals stranded and vulnerable. The embassy emphasized that marriage should be founded on mutual understanding and respect, and cautioned against impulsive decisions driven by misinformation. Chinese nationals in distress are encouraged to contact the embassy promptly for consular protection and assistance.
