Recently, Leapmotor officially unveiled its new full-size SUV—the D19. Marking a significant step toward the premium market, the D19 not only boasts class-leading dimensions but also delivers comprehensive upgrades in intelligence, electrification, and luxury. Built on Leapmotor’s self-developed LEAP technology architecture, the D19 features an 800V high-voltage fast-charging platform, enabling ultra-rapid charging—just 10 minutes can replenish approximately 300 kilometers of range. The vehicle offers both single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations, with peak output reaching 500 kW and 0–100 km/h acceleration in under 4 seconds.Inside, the D19 adopts a minimalist yet tech-forward design, featuring a triple-screen cockpit (instrument cluster, central infotainment display, and front passenger entertainment screen). Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and integrated with advanced AI large models, it enables more intuitive human-vehicle interaction. Additional highlights include air suspension, CDC electromagnetic damping, and L3-level driver assistance systems, ensuring both comfort and safety. The Leapmotor D19 is expected to begin deliveries in Q1 2025, with a starting price around RMB 300,000 (~$41,500), directly competing against premium EV SUVs like the Li Auto L9 and NIO ES8, further strengthening Chinese brands’ presence in the large intelligent electric SUV segment.
