Recently, Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei and CEO of Huawei Consumer BG, officially announced that the first MPV co-developed by Huawei and Chery will be named the ‘Luxeed V9.’ As a new flagship under Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility ecosystem, the Luxeed V9 marks Huawei’s further expansion into the premium intelligent mobility segment and fills a gap in its MPV product lineup.The Luxeed V9 will be powered by Huawei’s latest HarmonyOS 4.0 intelligent cockpit system, deeply integrated with AI large models to enable multimodal interaction, seamless connectivity, and an all-scenario smart experience. It is also expected to feature Huawei’s advanced ADS (Advanced Driving System) for high-level autonomous driving capabilities in both urban and highway environments. In terms of powertrain, the V9 will likely adopt either a pure electric or extended-range electric platform, balancing long range with high efficiency.As the second model under the Luxeed brand—following the sedan Luxeed S7—the V9 is positioned as a mid-to-large luxury intelligent MPV, targeting affluent consumers who prioritize family travel comfort and cutting-edge tech experiences.
