Recently, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has conducted joint multi-branch military exercises in the sea and airspace surrounding Taiwan, focusing on capabilities to blockade and strike against ‘Taiwan independence’ separatist forces and their so-called strongholds. These drills aim to firmly oppose any form of ‘Taiwan independence’ separatism and safeguard China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The exercises include maritime and aerial blockades, precision strikes, and coordinated firepower suppression, demonstrating the PLA’s integrated combat readiness and unwavering resolve to uphold national reunification. It must be emphasized that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. Any attempt to split the country or undermine social stability will be resolutely opposed and effectively countered by the entire Chinese people. While the PLA remains a steadfast force for peace and stability, it does not rule out the use of force—a necessary measure directed solely at external interference and the separatist activities of a tiny minority of ‘Taiwan independence’ elements, not at the general public in Taiwan.
