In June 2024, the 10th China-Oman Joint Committee on Economic and Trade Cooperation was successfully held in Muscat, the capital of Oman. Co-chaired by China’s Vice Minister of Commerce and Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, the meeting featured in-depth discussions on deepening bilateral economic and trade ties, advancing high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and enhancing practical collaboration in energy, infrastructure, digital economy, and green development.Both sides reviewed the positive progress in China-Oman economic relations in recent years. China is currently Oman’s largest trading partner and a key source of foreign investment, with notable achievements in cooperation across oil and gas, port development, manufacturing, and renewable energy. The delegations also exchanged views on improving the business environment, facilitating corporate investment, promoting SME partnerships, and mutual recognition of standards and certifications.Furthermore, both parties agreed to accelerate the implementation of signed projects and explore new cooperation opportunities in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and seawater desalination. The meeting has injected fresh momentum into the China-Oman comprehensive strategic partnership and created greater opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration between enterprises in the post-pandemic era.
2024年6月，中国—阿曼经贸联委会第十次会议在阿曼首都马斯喀特成功举行。本次会议由中国商务部副部长与阿曼工商大臣共同主持，双方围绕深化双边经贸合作、推动共建‘一带一路’高质量发展、加强能源、基础设施、数字经济和绿色经济等领域的务实合作展开深入交流。会议期间，双方回顾了近年来中阿经贸关系的积极进展。目前，中国是阿曼最大的贸易伙伴和主要外资来源国之一，两国在石油天然气、港口建设、制造业及新能源等领域合作成果显著。双方还就进一步优化营商环境、便利企业投资、促进中小企业合作以及加强标准与认证互认等议题交换了意见。此外，双方一致同意加快落实已签署的合作项目，并探讨在人工智能、可再生能源和海水淡化等新兴领域拓展合作空间。此次会议为推动中阿全面战略伙伴关系注入了新动力，也为两国企业在后疫情时代实现互利共赢创造了更多机遇。
