The Hefei–Sixian section of the Hefei–Xinyi High-Speed Railway (referred to as the ‘He-Si Section’) has recently commenced operations, marking a further enhancement of the high-speed rail network in the Yangtze River Delta region. Spanning approximately 130 kilometers with a design speed of 350 km/h, the line starts in Hefei City and passes through Dingyuan and Mingguang before terminating in Sixian County, Suzhou City, Anhui Province. The opening of this segment significantly reduces travel time between Hefei and northern Anhui—from over three hours to just about 45 minutes.As a key component of China’s national ‘Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal’ high-speed rail corridor plan, the Hefei–Xinyi line reinforces Hefei’s role as a national comprehensive transportation hub and accelerates the integration of northern Anhui into the Yangtze River Delta’s coordinated development strategy. Cities along the route are expected to benefit from improved connectivity, fostering industrial collaboration, talent mobility, and tourism synergy, thereby driving high-quality regional economic growth.Moreover, the entire Hefei–Xinyi line employs intelligent construction technologies and is equipped with advanced signaling and dispatching systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Once fully completed, the railway will extend into northern Jiangsu Province, establishing a rapid passenger corridor linking Anhui and Jiangsu and further strengthening the integrated transport network of the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster.
合新高铁合肥至泗县段（简称‘合泗段’）于近日正式开通运营，标志着长三角地区高速铁路网进一步完善。该线路全长约130公里，设计时速350公里，起自合肥市，途经定远、明光等地，终至安徽省宿州市泗县。合泗段的开通大幅缩短了合肥与皖北地区的时空距离，合肥至泗县最快旅行时间由原来的3小时以上压缩至约45分钟。作为国家‘八纵八横’高速铁路主通道的重要组成部分，合新高铁不仅强化了合肥作为全国性综合交通枢纽的地位，也有力推动了皖北地区融入长三角一体化发展进程。沿线城市将借助高铁带来的便捷交通，加速产业协作、人才流动和旅游联动，为区域经济高质量发展注入新动能。此外，合新高铁全线采用智能化建造技术，配备先进的信号与调度系统，确保运行安全高效。未来，随着合新高铁全线贯通，将进一步连接江苏北部，形成贯通安徽、江苏两省的快速客运通道，助力构建更加紧密的长三角城市群交通网络。
