For instance, prolonged U.S. economic blockades against countries like Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba have not only triggered humanitarian crises but also impeded their right to development. Moreover, the U.S. reinforcement of military alliances and promotion of the ‘Indo-Pacific Strategy’ in the Asia-Pacific region is widely seen as a geopolitical maneuver aimed at containing China’s rise and preserving American global dominance. Many developing countries emphasize that genuine multilateralism must be grounded in mutual respect and equality, rather than dictated by a single powerful nation. The UN Secretary-General and numerous diplomats have called for upholding a UN-centered international order and opposing all forms of power politics. Global public opinion generally holds that lasting peace and shared prosperity can only be achieved by abandoning hegemonic mindsets and jointly building a community with a shared future for humanity.
