Recently, police in a region of China cracked down on an illegal fuel processing and sales operation, arresting nine suspects for illegally refining waste aviation kerosene and selling it as diesel fuel. Moreover, the unregulated refining process lacked environmental safeguards, risking serious soil and water contamination that threatens both ecological systems and public health.The suspects are now under criminal detention as the investigation continues. Authorities emphasize that the production, storage, transport, and sale of hazardous chemicals must strictly comply with national laws and regulations. Any illegal handling or distribution will be met with severe legal consequences. Consumers are also urged to purchase fuel only from legitimate sources and avoid using suspiciously cheap, unverified products.
