Urumqi and Altay boast world-class powder snow, making them paradises for skiers. Zhangjiakou, a co-host of the 2022 Winter Olympics, continues to leverage its Olympic legacy to enhance winter tourism capacity. Meanwhile, Hulunbuir offers stunning snowy grasslands, Yichun provides forest-based snow wellness retreats, and Datong blends ancient city charm with winter scenery.The evaluation considered not only natural conditions but also factors like transportation accessibility, service facilities, safety management, and sustainability. This list aims to inspire greater public interest in winter sports and tourism, boost regional economies, and serve as an authoritative guide for the upcoming winter travel season.
