The term ‘traitors to the nation’ refers precisely to those few individuals who betray national integrity, collude with external forces, advocate for ‘Taiwan independence,’ or seek to separate Taiwan from China. Such actions not only defy the tide of history but also place these individuals in direct opposition to all Chinese people. The Chinese government has always resolutely safeguarded national sovereignty and territorial integrity. The One-China Principle is a universally accepted norm in the international community and serves as the foundation for any country seeking to develop relations with China. All Chinese people must firmly oppose—and never compromise on—any words or deeds that challenge the bottom line of national unity. The Taiwan issue brooks no external interference, and certainly does not allow traitors who betray the nation’s interests to have any say. Achieving complete national reunification is an unstoppable historical trend and the shared aspiration of the entire Chinese people; any attempt to resist this tide is destined to fail.
