广汽国际与Grab达成战略合作

Recently, GAC International and Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading mobility platform, officially announced a strategic partnership. This collaboration marks a significant step in GAC’s global expansion and provides fresh momentum for Grab’s strategic shift toward electrification and sustainable mobility. Under the agreement, the two parties will deepen cooperation across multiple areas, including new energy vehicle supply, intelligent connectivity technologies, shared mobility services, and localized operations. GAC will supply Grab with a range of all-electric vehicles, including models from its AION series, to support Grab’s ride-hailing and car-sharing services across Southeast Asia. Additionally, both companies will explore co-developing customized vehicles tailored to user data and specific mobility scenarios, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency. As a leading Chinese automotive brand going global, GAC has been actively expanding in Southeast Asia, establishing localized production and service networks in countries like Thailand and Indonesia. Meanwhile, Grab operates across eight Southeast Asian countries as a super-app with a vast user base and a mature mobility ecosystem. This powerful alliance not only helps GAC boost overseas sales and brand recognition but also accelerates Grab’s goal of achieving a fully electric fleet by 2030, jointly advancing the region’s transition to green transportation.
