Recently, the China Graduate Student Media Liaison Conference was grandly held in Chongqing. Guided by the Chinese Society of Higher Education and the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, the event brought together graduate student media representatives from numerous universities to engage in in-depth discussions under the theme “The Mission and Innovation of Graduate Student Media in the New Era.” The conference aimed to strengthen collaboration among graduate media outlets nationwide and enhance the influence of graduate students in campus public opinion guidance, academic communication, and social service.Participants shared practical experiences in content creation, platform operation, and integrated media dissemination, and explored key topics such as media transformation in the age of artificial intelligence, youth discourse system construction, and the promotion of mainstream values. During the conference, the “Initiative on Integrated Development of Graduate Student Media” was released, calling for adherence to correct political orientation, strengthening of content quality, and leveraging technology to jointly build a graduate media ecosystem that is warm, insightful, and principled.As a vital vehicle for ideological and political education and campus cultural development among graduate students, graduate media is increasingly becoming a crucial bridge connecting universities, society, and young scholars. This liaison conference not only provided a platform for exchange and cooperation but also injected new momentum into the high-quality development of graduate student media.
