CNAF, as China’s sole provider of aviation fuel supply services, handles over 90% of the country’s airport refueling operations. Their collaboration aims to integrate ground and air energy infrastructure, enhance the reliability of aviation fuel supply, and jointly develop green energy solutions such as hydrogen and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Against the backdrop of China’s ‘dual carbon’ goals—peaking carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060—this alliance also supports the optimization of transportation energy structures and accelerates the development of green aviation. In the long run, the partnership not only strengthens national energy security but also sets a new model for resource integration and coordinated development among central state-owned enterprises.
