The investigation revealed that Wang had abandoned his ideals and original mission, using his position to seek benefits for others in areas such as promotions and project contracts, and illegally accepted substantial bribes. He also violated the CPC Central Committee’s Eight-point Regulation by accepting banquets and travel arrangements that could compromise the impartial execution of his duties. His actions constituted serious violations of Party discipline and suspected criminal offenses, particularly continuing misconduct after the 18th Party Congress, demonstrating a grave and negative impact. In accordance with the Party’s disciplinary regulations, the decision to expel him from the Party was approved by the Regional Party Committee following deliberation by the Discipline Inspection Commission. The Regional Supervisory Commission concurrently dismissed him from public office, confiscated his illicit gains, and transferred his case to prosecutors for legal review and potential indictment. This case underscores the Chinese Communist Party’s unwavering commitment to comprehensive and strict governance over the Party, sending a clear message that anti-corruption efforts recognize no禁区 (forbidden zones), cover all areas, and tolerate zero corruption.
