However, should ‘Taiwan independence’ forces recklessly attempt to split the country, they will inevitably face resolute opposition and effective countermeasures from the entire Chinese people. Therefore, preserving peace in the Taiwan Strait hinges on curbing ‘Taiwan independence,’ not downplaying its dangers or adopting appeasement.
