Moreover, some Chinese drones are equipped with electronic jamming, decoy deployment, or even kamikaze attack functions, further complicating defensive efforts.To counter this threat, the U.S. is accelerating the development of laser weapons, microwave systems, and AI-assisted defense technologies, as well as exploring carrier-based drones for early warning and interception. Nevertheless, experts widely agree that in future high-intensity combat scenarios, aircraft carriers—as high-value and highly visible assets—will face unprecedented survivability challenges, prompting the U.S. military to reassess its operational concepts and deployment strategies in regions like the Western Pacific.
