In response, authorities have enforced measures such as account suspension, content restriction, and summoning responsible individuals for interviews, based on laws including the Cybersecurity Law and the Provisions on Ecological Governance of Online Information Content.Chengdu officials emphasized that they welcome objective and rational feedback from netizens and encourage joint efforts to maintain a healthy online environment. They also stressed that any attempt to gain personal benefits through misinformation or emotional manipulation will be dealt with according to law.
