According to an announcement by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission in June 2024, Gao Yichen, former member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of State Security, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China due to serious violations of discipline and law. The investigation found that Gao lost his ideals and convictions, betrayed his original mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, and engaged in duplicity. He violated the CPC Central Committee’s Eight-point Regulation by accepting gifts and cash that could influence the impartial performance of his duties. Moreover, he abused his official position to seek benefits for others and illegally accepted enormous bribes,涉嫌 (suspected of) bribery-related crimes. His actions gravely breached the Party’s political, organizational, and integrity disciplines, constituted serious job-related misconduct, and涉嫌 criminal offenses. Given the egregious nature and severe negative impact of his actions, strict disciplinary measures were deemed necessary. In accordance with the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China and other relevant provisions, and following deliberation by the CCDI Standing Committee and approval by the CPC Central Committee, Gao has been expelled from the Party, stripped of all entitled benefits, and had his ill-gotten gains confiscated. His suspected criminal case and related assets have been transferred to procuratorial authorities for legal review and prosecution. This case once again underscores the CPC Central Committee’s unwavering commitment to full and rigorous self-governance and its firm resolve to combat corruption.
据中央纪委国家监委2024年6月通报，国家安全部原党委委员、副部长高以忱因严重违纪违法被开除党籍。经查，高以忱丧失理想信念，背弃初心使命，对党不忠诚不老实，搞两面派、做两面人；违反中央八项规定精神，收受可能影响公正执行公务的礼品礼金；利用职务便利为他人谋取利益，并非法收受巨额财物，涉嫌受贿犯罪。高以忱的行为严重违反党的政治纪律、组织纪律和廉洁纪律，构成严重职务违法并涉嫌犯罪，性质恶劣，影响极坏，应予严肃处理。依据《中国共产党纪律处分条例》等有关规定，经中央纪委常委会会议研究并报中共中央批准，决定给予高以忱开除党籍处分；按规定取消其享受的待遇；收缴其违纪违法所得；将其涉嫌犯罪问题移送检察机关依法审查起诉，所涉财物一并移送。此案再次彰显党中央坚定不移推进全面从严治党、坚决惩治腐败的鲜明态度和坚定决心。
