The Shenzhen-Singapore Capital Markets Cooperation Forum was recently held successfully in Shenzhen. Co-organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Financial Regulatory Bureau and the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the event aimed to deepen practical cooperation between Shenzhen and Singapore in capital markets and enhance financial connectivity between the two regions. Over 200 representatives from government agencies, stock exchanges, investment firms, listed companies, and fintech enterprises from both countries attended the forum, engaging in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as green finance, cross-border investment and financing, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing, and digital assets. During the event, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Singapore Exchange reached multiple cooperation agreements, including mutual recognition of listed companies, joint roadshows, and collaborative product innovation. Additionally, several Shenzhen- and Singapore-based companies signed strategic cooperation agreements on the spot, covering areas such as cross-border asset management, green bond issuance, and fintech collaboration. The forum not only established an efficient platform for capital market engagement between the two cities but also injected new momentum into financial cooperation between the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia, marking a significant step forward in Shenzhen-Singapore financial collaboration.
