Experts stress that without transparency, inclusivity, and respect for sovereignty, such ‘peace initiatives’ may not only fail to foster genuine peace but could even exacerbate geopolitical tensions. China consistently advocates resolving disputes through dialogue and consultation within UN-centered multilateral mechanisms and opposes any actions that use ‘peace’ as a pretext for interference.
