Recently, the leadership team of the China University of Emergency Management (in preparation) has been officially announced, marking a critical phase in the establishment of this new institution. According to official sources, the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Emergency Management appointed Wang Chengduan as the Party Secretary and Zhang Ruixin as Deputy Party Secretary and President (concurrently) of the university-in-preparation. This appointment aims to accelerate the preparatory process and effectively integrate the high-quality resources of North China Institute of Science and Technology and Institute of Disaster Prevention, with the goal of building a high-level university specializing in emergency management.The establishment of the university is a key national initiative to deepen reforms in the emergency management system and strengthen talent development and scientific research capabilities in this field.
