With this update, disease control agencies and medical institutions at all levels will now be equipped with the necessary diagnostic capabilities and can swiftly activate emergency response protocols upon detection of suspected cases, thereby effectively preventing potential importation and spread. This decision also reflects China’s strong sense of responsibility toward global public health security and its proactive approach to epidemic preparedness.
