北京大坝开建 提升大石河防洪能力

Recently, Beijing has commenced construction of a new dam on the Da Shi River to significantly enhance flood control capacity in the watershed. The Da Shi River, a key waterway in southwestern Beijing, flows through districts such as Fangshan and Fengtai and has historically experienced repeated flooding, posing risks to lives and property in surrounding communities. With accelerated urbanization and increasing frequency of extreme weather events, the river’s existing channels and hydraulic infrastructure can no longer meet current flood management demands.The new dam is strategically located at a critical upstream section of the river and is designed to withstand floods with a 50-year return period. In addition to flood control, it will also support ecological water replenishment and regional water resource allocation. Once completed, the project will effectively regulate flood discharge, reduce drainage pressure on downstream urban areas, and improve the local aquatic ecosystem. A smart monitoring system will also be installed to provide real-time data on water levels, flow rates, and early warnings, enhancing emergency response capabilities.According to Beijing’s Municipal Water Authority, this initiative is a key component of China’s national water grid strategy and Beijing’s resilient city planning, with completion expected within the next two years. Beyond strengthening urban flood defenses, the project will also contribute to regional water security under the broader Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development framework.

近日,北京市启动大石河大坝新建工程,旨在全面提升该流域的防洪能力。大石河作为北京西南部的重要河流,流经房山、丰台等多个区域,历史上曾多次发生洪水灾害,对周边居民生命财产安全构成威胁。随着城市化进程加快和极端天气频发,原有河道和水利设施已难以满足当前防洪需求。此次新建的大坝工程位于大石河上游关键节点,设计标准可抵御50年一遇的洪水,并兼顾生态补水、水资源调配等多重功能。项目建成后,将有效调控洪水流量,减轻下游城区排涝压力,同时改善区域水生态环境。此外,工程还将配套建设智能监测系统,实现对水位、流量等关键数据的实时监控与预警,提升应急响应能力。北京市水务局表示,该项目是落实国家水网建设规划和首都韧性城市战略的重要举措,预计将在未来两年内完工。工程不仅强化了城市防洪体系,也为京津冀协同发展中的水安全保障提供支撑。
