In recent years, a continuous influx of Venezuelan migrants into Brazil has become one of South America’s most significant humanitarian migration crises. International organizations such as the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the Red Cross have also played active roles in providing aid and improving migrants’ living conditions and legal status. Overall, the Venezuelan migration wave not only tests Brazil’s capacity for social governance but also underscores the critical importance of regional cooperation in addressing transnational humanitarian crises.
