The erroneous remarks by certain individuals in the Philippines not only violate the consensus previously reached by the leaders of both countries but also undermine the easing of tensions in the South China Sea. China urges the Philippines to abide by international law and bilateral agreements, cease baseless accusations, move in the same direction as China, and jointly promote maritime cooperation to genuinely advance regional peace and development.
