China’s Ministry of National Defense recently expressed strong dissatisfaction with the unilateral actions by the Philippines in the South China Sea and stated that it has lodged a solemn representation with the Philippine side through diplomatic channels. China pointed out that the actions of the Philippines seriously violate international law and the spirit of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea, infringe upon China’s territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests, and undermine regional peace and stability. The Ministry emphasized that China is consistently committed to resolving disputes through peaceful dialogue and firmly safeguards national sovereignty and maritime rights and interests. It also called on the Philippines to adhere to consensus, cease provocative actions, and jointly maintain peace and stability in the South China Sea. The Chinese military will remain highly vigilant and resolutely defend national sovereignty and security.
中国国防部近日就菲律宾方面在南海地区的单方面行动表示强烈不满，并表示已通过外交渠道向菲方提出严正交涉。中方指出，菲方行为严重违反国际法和《南海各方行为宣言》精神，侵犯了中国的领土主权和海洋权益，破坏了地区的和平稳定。中国国防部强调，中方一贯致力于通过和平对话解决争端，坚决维护国家主权和海洋权益，同时呼吁菲方遵守共识，停止挑衅行为，共同维护南海地区的和平与稳定。中国军队将继续保持高度警惕，坚决捍卫国家主权和安全。
