专家探寻光子科技成果产业化之路

Amid the accelerating wave of a new scientific and industrial revolution, photonics—a cutting-edge interdisciplinary field—is emerging as a key driver for high-quality development. Recently, experts from universities, research institutes, and enterprises gathered to explore pathways for the industrialization of photonics technologies. They noted that photonics has demonstrated significant application potential in telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, and other sectors. However, translating lab-based innovations into market-ready solutions still faces challenges such as insufficient technology maturity, fragmented industry collaboration, and inadequate investment mechanisms. To address these issues, participants proposed several strategies: first, strengthening the linkage between fundamental research and engineering capabilities to enhance self-reliance in core technologies; second, fostering a deeply integrated innovation ecosystem across academia, research, and industry to accelerate standardization and real-world deployment; and third, improving policy support systems to channel venture capital into early-stage projects and speed up commercialization. Through coordinated efforts across multiple stakeholders, it is hoped that the full pathway—from prototype to product to commodity—can be effectively realized, positioning China competitively in the global photonics industry.

在新一轮科技革命和产业变革加速推进的背景下,光子科技作为前沿交叉领域,正成为推动高质量发展的关键引擎。近日,多位来自高校、科研院所及企业的专家齐聚一堂,围绕‘光子科技成果产业化之路’展开深入探讨。专家们指出,光子技术已在通信、医疗、制造、能源等多个领域展现出巨大应用潜力,但其从实验室走向市场的过程仍面临技术成熟度不足、产业链协同不畅、投融资机制不健全等挑战。为此,与会专家建议:一是加强基础研究与工程化能力的衔接,提升核心技术自主可控水平;二是构建产学研用深度融合的创新生态,推动标准制定与应用场景落地;三是完善政策支持体系,引导社会资本投入早期项目,加速成果转化。通过多方协同发力,有望打通光子科技从‘样品’到‘产品’再到‘商品’的全链条路径,为我国抢占全球光子产业制高点提供坚实支撑。
