For instance, the country is promoting high-quality, equitable development of compulsory education; enhancing vocational training and targeted employment support for vulnerable groups; deepening medical insurance reforms and broadening the scope of covered medications; accelerating the development of a coordinated elderly care system that integrates home-based, community-based, and institutional services with medical and wellness support; and increasing the supply of affordable rental housing to address housing challenges faced by new urban residents and young people. By ensuring effective implementation of policies down to the ‘last mile,’ this full-chain livelihood security system is becoming a crucial foundation for enhancing people’s sense of gain, happiness, and security.
