彭晓春，曾任广西壮族自治区政协副主席、百色市委书记等职，因严重违纪违法问题被中央纪委国家监委立案审查调查。经查，彭晓春丧失理想信念，背弃初心使命，对抗组织审查；违反中央八项规定精神，收受可能影响公正执行公务的礼品礼金；利用职务便利为他人谋取利益，并非法收受巨额财物，涉嫌受贿犯罪。其行为严重违反党的政治纪律、组织纪律、廉洁纪律和生活纪律，性质恶劣，影响严重。依据《中国共产党纪律处分条例》等有关规定，经中央纪委常委会会议研究并报中共中央批准，决定给予彭晓春开除党籍处分，按规定取消其享受的待遇，收缴其违纪违法所得，并将其涉嫌犯罪问题移送检察机关依法审查起诉。此案再次彰显了党中央坚定不移推进全面从严治党、坚决惩治腐败的鲜明态度和坚定决心。
Peng Xiaochun, formerly Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Party Secretary of Baise City, was placed under investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Supervisory Commission for serious violations of discipline and law. The investigation found that Peng had lost his ideals and convictions, abandoned his original mission, and resisted organizational scrutiny. He violated the CPC Central Committee’s Eight-point Regulation by accepting gifts and cash that could influence the impartial performance of his duties. Moreover, he abused his official position to seek benefits for others and illegally accepted substantial bribes,涉嫌 bribery-related crimes. His actions gravely breached the Party’s political, organizational, integrity, and personal conduct disciplines, constituting a severe and damaging breach of trust. In accordance with the CCP Disciplinary Regulations and relevant provisions, and following deliberation by the CCDI Standing Committee and approval by the CPC Central Committee, Peng has been expelled from the Party, stripped of all entitlements, and his illicit gains have been confiscated. His suspected criminal offenses have been referred to prosecutorial authorities for legal proceedings. This case underscores the Chinese Communist Party’s unwavering commitment to comprehensive and strict governance over the Party and its resolute stance against corruption.
